It wouldn’t be fashion week without stopping backstage at least a few times to witness the hectic scene before a show. I met up with James Vincent, the makeup artist who created the look and led the Mehron beauty team at the Charlotte Ronson show at Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week Fall ’15.
“This is a natural look, effortless and not overdone.” James Vincent said. “It’s like her makeup is on from being out all night and this is the ‘morning after.’ Now she is meeting her friends.” He explained he used a thin foundation and tinted moisturizer with just a touch of powder. For the eyes Vincent used dark brown shades like cocoa and espresso rather than harsh blacks to create this soft look.
