I tested out these three Pop Beauty products which proved to be beauty-savers for me during this last New York Fashion Week. The eye and face primers hold makeup like a magnet and the concealer has a variety of shades to give you a perfect coverup.
When I first tried this eye magnet primer, I loved the tint that brightened the redness on my inner eyes and eye lids, but I felt it was a little dry on my aging skin. However the next time I tried it with a little eye cream applied first it worked like a magnet just as well. This eye primer holds both powder and cream eyeshadows. A big test was when I had to walk into the snow and wind one freezing cold morning to a train station during New York Fashion Week. My eyes were tearing but the “magnet” worked! My eyeshadow and liner were miraculously in tact.
This little compact of concealers is perfect for carrying around! It works well because it provides a variety of tints and a highlighter to conceal as needed. I love the little mirror on the back so I can check out the power of these POP Beauty magnets during the day.
I immediately noticed a lightening effect on my skin when I tried this primer. That’s because it has UV protection (which I need) to prevent any more aging, along with vitamin E. Don’t worry, when you add your foundation you won’t look like a ghost! This primer works like a magnet (as it claims), holding your foundation all day and gives you a smooth matte finish.
