It’s so nice to see the sun again! It means spring is back and in full force and summer is not too far behind. But before you run to the door to start planning rooftop parties and hitting up street festivals, you might want to make a change to the place you’ll come back to: your home.

When we say “a change” it doesn’t necessarily mean completely redecorating your living room to the tune of thousands of dollars. You could change your abode outlook by purchasing new lamps and a canvas print, or even just a fresh coat of paint. Spring always suggests lighter colors but why not try something different and paint the walls darker? Or pick a theme, like metallic shades and animal sculptures, and head to the thrift store.

Whether you’re just doing a little spring cleaning or moving locales, it never hurts to add a little update to your homestead. Even if you can’t paint your apartment, you can add in a new piece or two without breaking the bank.
