New Valentino Flagship Opens in Rome
Valentino’s largest international flagship store has opened in Rome. Located near the Spanish Steps and a next door to the Italian fashion house’s headquarters, it spans 15,876 square feet. The space features marble columns and grand staircases and carries women’s and menswear, but mostly focuses on accessories. Valentino will officially celebrate the official opening with a couture show on July 9th in Rome, instead of Paris.
Cole Haan Continues Collaboration with New York City Ballet
Cole Haan and the New York City Ballet have unveiled their latest collection for fall. Google Linking Online Ads to In-Store Shopping
Google is continuing its efforts to help retailers’ digital marketing. Last year, the company started recording store visits as part of its AdWords program. Google tracked customers’ location information from their phones to see the correlation between seeing an online ad and shopping in the store. Companies that work with Google can now assess their return on investment from digital ads. Today, Google has released data from the program, showing that consumers who saw a digital ad from a retailer were four times more likely to buy something in-store or online. Additionally, shoppers who viewed a digital ad were ten times more likely to shop on their phone.
