Seychelles Eight Fifteen

The El Segundo, California based company Seychelles hit the nail on the head when it came to their new luxury shoe line Eight Fifteen. The line is function minus frumpy and is in eight boutiques already after only being shipped a few weeks ago (including American Rag and Joe Brand.) It will also be launching at Wink in New York City this month and is already planning on launching Sey Collection this fall which includes: loafers, booties and pumps.

Uniqlo Partners up with Carine Roitfeld

Japanese retail giant Uniqlo has announced a new partnership with France’s most famous editor Carine Roitfeld. The Carine Roitfeld Collection will be available at the end of October and will be sold at Uniqlo flagships worldwide and online. The 40 piece collection reflects the brand’s aim “to create everyday clothing that is functional, comfortable and reasonably priced.”  We hope Uniqlo Chicago, set to open this fall, is ready in time to carry it!

Barneys NYC Brings Beckham Out

Victoria Beckham spent her Tuesday night at Barneys New York Beverly Hills for the store’s launch of her collection with a dinner and trunk show for all the guests. Stars that came out for the occasion included: Gwyneth Paltrow, Eva Longoria and Rose Byrne. Oh, and we can’t forget her hubby David Beckham! Beckham explains, “We are all fundamentally the same. Women here, they want to feel sexy and powerful. I love that. I met so many women today who’ve got great bodies and boobs and a bum and they want to look sexy. I want to do that for them. That’s why I’m doing what I do.”
