Lisa Eldridge Debuting Book
British makeup artist Lisa Eldridge will debut her first book, titled “Face Paint.” It will launch on October 13th and chronicles the history of makeup, highlighting Egyptian and Classical times through the Victorian era and golden age of Hollywood. Published by Abrams, the book also covers makeup of the future and its impact on people’s lives. Eldridge is the makeup creative director of Lancôme and runs a popular YouTube channel and blog.

Too Faced Cosmetics on the Market
Makeup brand Too Faced is reportedly on the market to be sold and has entered the bidding process. According to industry insiders, one of the top bidders is Estée Lauder with bids coming in around $450 million. It has been estimated that Too Faced, founded in 1998, has an annual profit of $150 million.
