Rob Lowe Debuting Skin Care Line

Actor Rob Lowe takes his skin care seriously. For the past six years, he’s been working on his own line, called Profile, which is launching online this week and in Nordstrom this fall. Charismatic Lowe said, “My goal, number one above all, was no bullsh–t.” His website, Profile4men.com, starts e-commerce this week. “The thing I really want people to understand is that I built this line from the ground up. I’m not the celebrity endorser; I’m not the face of the product. I’m the developer of it. I have an entrepreneurial spirit,” Lowe added. The men’s line will consist of a cleanser, shave gel, aftershave serum, a moisturizer and eye serum. All were formulated specifically for men’s skin.

Hilfiger to Present Men’s in London and New York

Tommy Hilfiger is will show his men’s spring collection in both New York City and London this summer. The first showing will be during London Collections: Men on June 14th. In addition, the designer will personally present the line to retailers and editors at the company’s showroom. In New York, he is presenting during and lending support the opening season of New York Fashion Week: Men’s on July 15th.

J.C. Penney Class Action Drama

A class-action lawsuit against J.C. Penney Co. Inc. could damage the department store’s brand as it struggles to turnaround. On Monday, the class action was certified for a case filed in 2012 that alleges the department store chain engaged in fraudulent business practices for its sale pricing strategy. J.C. Penney has no comment.
