Trina Turk Signs Jewelry Deal
California-based designer Trina Turk has just signed on with licensing corporation Carolee to produce a line of Trina Turk jewelry. The first collection (fall and holiday) will be available in September and will include vibrant colors and faceted stones ranging from $38 to $298. Turk said, “[Carolee] understands our unique brand aesthetic and business goals.”
Evan Lysacek for Vera Wang
It has been 5 years since Vera Wang designed the Olympic costumes for American figure skater Evan Lysacek. Since then Lysacek hung up his skates, moved to New York last fall and worked for Charter Realty & Development. However, these two are back together! The designer has just announced that Lysacek is now enlisted as a creative consultant for her company.
Louis Vuitton “Series 3” Ad
For Nicolas Ghesquière’s “Series 3” campaign for Louis Vuitton two photographers Bruce Weber and Juergen Teller stepped up to the plate. The muse for the video is Swedish actress Alicia Vikander. The ad is slated to break this August and Vikander has a few movies coming out including “Ex Machina,” “The Danish Girl,” and “The Light Between Oceans.”
