Chanel Exhibit at Saatchi Gallery

Chanel is headed to London this fall highlighting everything from their Haute Couture skills, to creations made by none other than Coco herself. Her high fashion jewelry collection, “Bijoux de Diamants” will be on display which has already created a lot of buzz since its debut at Chanel’s fall couture show earlier this month. “Mademoiselle Privé” is set to take over three floors of the exhibit displaying fashions as far back as Gabrielle Chanel’s looks and inspirations, to the modern designs created by Karl Lagerfeld. The exhibit is projected to run this fall from October 13th to November 1st which may be short lived, but adds to the importance of their couture exhibit. Book your flights to London now.

Jeweler Lara Bohinc Teams with British Company Lapicida on Furniture

Another fashion design fair is taking to London this fall including designs by none other than Laura Bohinc. Her collaboration with Lapicida, a specialist in natural stone, has sparked inspiration for yet another line that includes a lot of celestial form inspired designs as well as looks inspired by art she had seen in Venice. “There’s such an exciting visual mix going on in Venice,” says Bohinc. “You see classical stone marquetry techniques such as Pietra Dura alongside contemporary designs in marble. I love geometry and strong, graphic forms and I love rich, textural materials.” Her collection currently includes a half moon dining table, the sun and moon coffee table, and a full moon side table ranging in price from $9,400 to $35,200. The three piece collection will be up for sale at Decorex, the design fair held in Syon Park, followed by Lapicida’s showrooms worldwide as well as Bohinc’s Notting Hill showroom.

Estée Lauder and Glamour Magazine Starts “Post Worthy” Campaign

Who wouldn’t want to partake in a social media contest that can win you a professional photoshoot in Glamour magazine? That’s right ladies, Estée Lauder and Glamour magazine are teaming up on a social media contest to make participants feel “post worthy.” The #BestAngle campaign started this Monday, and runs through Sept. 4. Women can enter by uploading a photo to or posting to Instagram with hashtags including #BestAngle and #GlamourContest allowing women of all ages to define they’re own beauty. Glamour and Estée Lauder will also hold three events Saturday August 29th in New York at Macy’s at Roosevelt Field, at Macy’s at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California, and in Houston at Macy’s at The Galleria, showing customers how they can get their best look using thier products. Once the contest comes to an end, both Lauder and Glamour will choose four winners and fly them to New York for their professional photoshoot! Don’t forget to hashtag, ladies!
