Style Sleuth: Classing Up Kardashian Style

Kardashian-Style

As much as we try, we will never get rid of the Kardashian/Jenner tribe. Just when you think they’ve all but faded from the tabloid headlines, a new scandal/revelation/life-changing event is sure to be on the horizon for us to “keep up” with. And as much as I hate to admit it, there are some makeup and styling tips they’ve popularized that I kind of find myself inexplicably drawn to. You can say they are a bit like cultural fashion or beauty icons (I said you can say it, you don’t have to).

Who can think of contouring or overly plumped lips without immediately thinking of one of those ladies? Or how about dressing to show off your backside? Not to say there aren’t other women who are known for dressing this way or sticking to a particular look, but I guess it’s just more noticeable since there are so many of them.

There are some things you can take away from their look and apply to yourself without looking horrendous. It mainly circles around the notion “less is more”. The one piece of advice I have when testing out their signature looks: while it might be nice to try to use all of these key Kardashian traits for a night out, I suggest you don’t. Well, unless it’s Halloween.
