Perhaps you are having a bad hair day or the Chicago weather is not cooperating with your locks and you need a blowout – right away! Now you are in luck! Vive on demand subscription-based blowout service is here for the women of Chicago. You can book unlimited appointment with a monthly subscription to a curated list of top salons online.
Initially launched in New York in April 2015, founder and former Manhattan financial research analyst Alanna Gregory hoped to provide a solution to common appointment gripes (such as the hassle of finding a salon or a lack of day-of availability) by treating women to convenience, accessibility, and reliability as well as good hair days on any or every day of the week!
Vive helps by selecting a venue for your appointment with access to a variety of exclusive salons – and the chance to discover a new favorite! The list of 63 Chicago salons that meet the Vive standard include Sine Qua Non Salons, Swerve Salon, Salon Blue, Blowout Junkie and more.
I booked online late night on Wednesday and early Thursday morning my appointment was confirmed at Hair Fusion Bar just 5 minutes away from my office. I was not familiar with the salon but was impressed from the second I drove up and was able to park right in front of the door! The spacious River North salon specializes in hair extensions and styling – a great combo. My stylist Makanzie made me feel right at home and after a quick hair discussion, she gave me a style with just the right amount of wave and volume, as I had requested. The style lasted a few days, too (I hate when I get a blowout style and it is completely gone the next day.)!
For $150 per month, you can order a never-ending supply of blowouts at any of Vive’s trusted salons. Vive also offers four blowouts a month for $115 as well as a two a month blowouts for $65. You still need to tip, but figure this out – it’s a great deal!
Visit Vive today and never complain about bad hair days again!
