You’re hungry but you don’t have a lot of time, and you want some good food…real fast. You know you should “eat right” but also have a craving for something really tasty. Then Snap! You think of Snap Kitchen. At least I know I do, since I tried Snap Kitchen on Halsted Street several months ago. Now I am happy there is yet another option. I can pick up a meal at the Snap Kitchen shop inside Whole Foods Market Streeterville. You will find a wide selection of snacks, salads, cold-pressed juices, desserts and meals, including rotating favorites ranging from bison quinoa hash and grass-fed lamb lasagna to spaghetti turkey Bolognese and chili and eggs.
There are already seven Chicagoland locations and next month another Snap Kitchen will open in the Gold Coast, giving us even more options!
Snap Kitchen’s fresh, healthy take-away dishes are everything a great meal should be.
Amazingly good: a wide selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals designed by a classically trained chef. Made from scratch daily and chilled to preserve freshness and flavor, Snap Kitchen meals contain the finest and most transparent ingredients.
Unbelievably healthy: perfectly portioned meals made with only real, non-processed ingredients. Ideal for any lifestyle ranging from Paleo and gluten-free to vegan and carb counters, Snap Kitchen meals are approved by the Chief Dietitian and pack an incredibly nutritional punch without losing any of the taste that makes them so craveable.
Exceptionally easy: just warm it up (they give you easy directions for each) and you’re good to go.
Snap Kitchen Executive Chef Matt Reinhart was visiting from Snap Kitchen’s home base in Austin, Texas. He told me more about the quality of the meals that made my mouth water at the same time. He helped me pick out a meal and one of their popular cold-pressed green drinks. Yum! My Greek Shrimp Salad with a trio of toppings, lemon and dressing was absolutely delicious, and the green drink didn’t taste like it was good for me, because it tasted great!
