The night ends with a collaboration of violin and electro pop sounds by DJ Mia Moretti and violinist Caitlin Moe. In honor of Fashion’s Night Out and DKNY’s 20 year anniversary, limited edition one-of-a-kind tote bags were created; 20 to be sold at the Madison Avenue store and the other 20 at the SoHo location. The bags are made entirely of materials that covered DKNY’s Fall 2009 runway; the red, black & white NYC inspired runway covering that the world’s most famous models strutted on this past February. All visitors to the store will have the chance to take part in creating the highest heeled shoe in the world – high enough to be seen from space! The event will take place at his store on Bruton Place in London from 6:30pm – 11:00pm and the final product will displayed in Berkeley Square to be shot by satellite the very next morning. Those involved in this highly ambitious attempt will receive a photographic print of the satellite image afterwards, signed by Rupert Sanderson. On top of this, hot DJ’s New Family will be providing the cool beats for the night and we’ll be offering world-beating discounts on a number of styles. How’s that for a global event…?
