Gr. Dano

To give credit where credit is due, we learned more about this label through a post on "Clothes-Pin"(one of our favorite blogs). Actually, we fell in love with one of their skirts which you can find in our "Second City Style Stylehive" a few weeks back.

Designers (and couple) Jill Giordano and Brian Scheyer have incorporated their respective fields of fashion and graphic design to create "Gr. Dano". One can see the graphic design details in the structure of the pieces that they are not only beautifully tailored, but elegant.

Giordano and Scheyer have been designing under the Gr.Dano label since 2003 but their Fall '06 collection is the first one to be sold wholesale. Working out their house/studio in Sausalito, CA., Jill is an instructor at the Academy of Art University San Francisco in the fashion department(her alma mater) and Brian is an Art Director at an online advertising agency.

Gr. Dano can be found in Chicago exclusively at Habit. Their new fall inventory will be available by the beginning of September.
