“Urban ease� was the concise inspiration behind Donna Karan’s Spring ’07 ready-to-wear collection, presented earlier this month in New York.

To me, urban ease means an outfit that moves with you, on the train, down the street, through an eight-hour day and hopefully, to drinks afterward.

We all need a little urban ease in our wardrobes — pieces that are sharp enough for the metropolitan place we call home, yet comfortable enough to keep up with our busy lifestyles.
