Lauren Flemming
When browsing the hundreds of jewelry sites on the web, I come across my fair share of mediocre displays. Every once in a while though, I'll discover a collection that's all-around fabulous. NYC designer Alexis Bittar's pieces are inspiring, intriguing, diverse — a little bit of everything. His site boasts some of the most unique jewelry I've ever seen. There are pieces for every personality -classic, Parisian flair, edgy, eclectic, modern and the list goes on. You're bound to be impressed by his collections.
Faceted Drop $94
I think the synergy of the smokey lucite and silver stone is so genius. These earrings are understated and classy, but also have a really funky appeal to them.
Crystal Ice Cube $94
Jewel-tone colors are in this season, so the purple hue on this circle pendant couldn't be more perfect. The bail is embelleished with Swarovski crystals for a little bit of bling. Layer it with a couple gold chains or small, simple pendants for a cool, eclectic look.
Scallop Ring $195
I fell in love with this ring as soon as I entered the site. The beautiful icy blue lucite has a simple scalloped texture with Swarovski studded, silver channels. The result is a stunning ring with timeless appeal.
Pink Tourmaline and Amethyst Caviar Ring $385
The amount of texture in this ring is wild but still so smart. It has a pretty neutral color palette yet Bittar manages to achieve a satisfying amount of depth and intricacy. The haphazard placement of rosy jewels is sweet and charming.
Giverny Bangle $245
Called the "Giverny Bangle", this bracelet is featured in Bittar's favorite picks in the "Springtime in Paris" collection. I love that he's incorporated so much of the floral design. It's fresh and lively, and perfect for spring.
Aquamarine Rose Quartz Tourquoise Link Necklace $225
There's an effortless quality to the random order of intertwining links and dripping beads on this necklace. It shows Bittar's range from what was featured earlier.
