BJ O’Hare of Microsoft and Patrice Grell Yursik of Afrobella at Japonais Chicago

Afrobella invited several Chicago bloggers to Japanais on Tuesday for sushi and to show us the new Microsoft Surface. This sleek tablet has a thin, but full-sized keyboard called the Touch Cover that comes in basic black but you can change the colors to get different “looks” when carrying the same computer!

There are fashionable colors like hot pink, sky blue, bright red and white so you can personalize your Surface with changeable Touch Covers to go with whatever you are wearing. OK, I know the color is not everything, but what is the first thing people ask about when you get a new car?

As for the functionality, Afrobella and BJ O’Hare from Microsoft told us about the easy-to-navigate features. I know can really use something like this for New York Fashion Week, so I can blog with it and load it up with a bunch of apps. Besides, it will look cool (and always color coordinated) whenever I use it!

Microsoft Surface with a hot red keypad!

Stay tuned for my review after I start to use my Microsoft Surface. I am very excited because I really needed a tablet and look forward to using this fantastic device.
