Beauty Beat. My Confession…The Clean & Clear Advantage. Second City Style Fashion & Beauty Blog

It’s hard to admit I use an acne kit considering I’m at the age where I should be worrying about wrinkles (an usually do), but since moving to the hot, humid and (sorry) dirty city of New York, Clean & Clear’s Advantage Acne Control Kit has become my savior. It’s sorta like Proactiv, but works better (in y opinion) and is available at your drugstore. Additonally, you don’t have to join a club and worry about the kit being delivered every three months even when you don’t need a new one.

A woman older than myself clued me in and I immediately ran out and bought the kit (which I found at Walgreen’s), especially with my wedding quickly approaching. Wrinkles and acne at the same time? There ought to be a law.

The kit contains three products:

  • Advantage Acne Control Cleanser – the gentle cleanser has a cooling effect and penetrates deep into the pore to fight flare-ups all day long. I use this twice a day.
  • Advantage Acne Control Moisturizer – it dissolves oil, yet is nondrying. I love this product and use it twice a day.
  • Advantage Fast Clearing Spot Treatment – the name says it all and it’s perfect for the ‘spots’ that still sneak by. This miracle treatment works quickly and is nondrying. I use as needed.

This kit is a God-send  for the adult who wants clear skin, but finds teen products too harsh. Hey, the compliments I have received on my skin this summer is enough proof it works.

There, I admitted it. I feel much better now.
