I thought I was too cool buying this stuff by the fistful in France. Little did I know it has been available in the US for years (for the same price). Doh. This mascara has been my secret for lashes so long, they hit my sunglass lenses. I was a Lancome Definicils die-hard until I discovered this miracle wand 5 years ago.

Bourjois Coup de Theatre False Lash Illusion – Duo Mascara is an extra lengthening and ultra-thickening dual-end concoction. Apply a coat of a mixture of the nylon and silica fibers and then a coat of the pro-vitamin B5 enriched pigment mascara. Amazing. $17 at Sephora.

Note: I recently tried the Bourjois Maxi Frange Maximum Length and Volume Mascara which is the same dual end deal yet promises "skyscraper" lashes and costs $19. It goes on like frosting and clumps like crazy. Stick to the one pictured.

Coup de Theatre and Mascara Maxi frange..both by Bourjois Paris have given me problems after use. I have never had a stye or any other irritating problem with my eyes until I tried these mascara’s. I talked to a couple other friends about the product who also experienced the same problems. I never had any sensitivity to any other mascara’s so I don’t know why these caused so much problems. Maybe because of the fibers??? Ladies beware of the tradeoff… Long eyelashes one day to red irritated and inflamed the next.

Wow! I have never heard that! That’s horrible. I have to admit…I have switched to Tarte’s “Lights, Camera, Lashes!” Love it. Then again, I never had problems with the Bourjois mascaras and I am sensitive to everything.
