Fountain of 30
Anybody who was anybody and everybody even slightly famous was in attendance for last night’s Metropolitan
Museum of Art’s Annual Costume Institute
gala honoring Paul Poiret.
Co-chairs Anna Wintour, Cate
Blanchett and Nicolas Ghesquière.
Since the main objective of the event is to see what everybody wore, let’s do just that. There was some pretty amazing talent and a few flops.
(L-R) Eva Mendes looked fab in silver and Cameron Diaz has thankfully gone back to her blond roots.
Donatella Versace (looking as orange as ever) with Hillary Swank. Mary-Kate Olsen looking good for Mary-Kate Olsen.
Amanda Peete should have gone with a bare leg. Helena Christensen looked amazing.
Kate Bosworth hit this one out of the ball park, running circles around Lindsay Lohan.
Mischa Barton‘s dress was divine, Scarlett Johansson‘s was not.
Camilla Belle, in a word – stunning. Angie Harmon, in a word – atrocious.
Andre Leon Talley & Jennifer Hudson make nice (after Oscar), Sandra Bullock looks nice, but never smiles.
Naomi Campbell is the epitome of bad model behavior and in this outfit, bad model taste. It’s not Gisele‘s finest hour either.
Jennifer Connelly looks amazing. Kirsten Dunst and her boyfriend Johnny Borrell (with his tux pants tucked into cowboy boots) both look stupid.
Renne Zellweger looks like a contortionist (she always has the oddest poses). JLo looks glamorous (as long as her scary husband isn’t on her arm).
