There’s nothing like an Akira fashion show to kick off the season!
The 12th Annual Fall Fashion Show known as “The Last Dimension” wowed Chicago fashionistas and tastemakers on Sunday, October 5th at the Grossinger City Autoplex. Featuring special guest James Maslow from “Dancing with the Stars” and “Big Time Rush” guests got a sneak peek at some of the fall’s most popular fashion trends.

Guests got to enjoy small bites from Strings Ramen Shop, Hubbard Inn, 25 Degrees and Umami Burger while watching breakdance performances from Brickheadz and a live painting creation by Zhou B. Art Center resident Andrew Leonardo before the show.
A portion of the show’s ticket proceeds went to PAWS Chicago. PAWS Chicago is the city’s largest no-kill humane organization, focused on solutions to end the killing of homeless pets. Since its founding in 1997, homeless dogs and cats killed annually in the city of Chicago has dropped more than 50 percent.
