Chicago can now check the hour with the pinnacle of stylish timepieces. Tourneau is proud to be opening Chicago’s first-of-its-kind Rolex boutique, presented by TWC. The Michigan Avenue boutique is the first to be devoted solely to the sale of Rolex timepieces. Located at 636 North Michigan Avenue in the historic building notably owned by the Women’s Athletic Club of Chicago, The store boasts 1,660 square feet, and will house more than four hundred timeless Rolex models.
The layout of the space draws was inspired by the traditional Rolex green. The palette of earth tones is concocted from luxe materials such as marbles, leather-covered panels, signature Rolex ‘aquaglass’, milled wood and etched metal. The construction of the store was the collaborative effort between Rolex Geneva and New York, and long-standing Tourneau collaborator, Kenneth Park Architects. The design was created to ensure that Chicago customers will see and feel the same elements found in other Rolex shops around the world.
After celebrating its ‘soft-opening’ for us elite editorial previewers, the store is now open to the public. Stay tuned as Tourneau will be announcing a number of special events in the coming months to celebrate the debut of this unique store! Welcome to Chicago, Rolex!
