Last week, we reported that Proenza Schouler was expanding their 5-year-old label with a shoe collection, and now we are starting to learn more about the new project. According to WWD, Proenza Schouler shoes will retail for an average of $685, with pieces
beginning in the $300s up to $3,000, and will include styles in ballet slippers, loafers, lace-up sandals and heels. On their new shoe collection, the design duo said this: "We’ve had a shoe collection before for shows, but never pushed outside
of that. They weren’t commercial shoes, and we did it
ourselves with a little factory. Now, we’re going to start making
things we like for everyday." We’re thinking we might want to wear their shoes every day, too!
