Chicago designer Elysabeth Alfano, owner of Elyse C. Bec Designs, has created a collection of luxurious and soft alpaca scarves and wraps in contemporary colors and timeless designs, and we have a selection available at the Second City Store. In addition to being elegant, striking and warm, all Elyse C. Bec creations are produced by a fair-trade co-op of women literally knitting and weaving their way out of poverty. A portion of net proceeds go to Environmental and Community Charities.

These scarves offer a quick way to add some updates to your wardrobe as the weather cools down. They also make wonderful gifts.

You don’t have anything in gray? With gray being so big this season, this beautiful Elyse C. Bec Black and Silver Wrap can add some luxury and keep you warm at the same time.

Marc Jacobs Fall 07 Detail from New York Style Magazine

These colors screamed Marc Jacobs when we saw them, and also Paris Fall ’07 with the harlequin pattern. Wear this Elyse C. Bec Argyle Fall Red scarf with your camel, grey or black coat for an instant fashion update.

Maybe you want to add some color, but in a more subtle way. This Elyse C. Bec Multi Scarf is simply beautiful.

Rich jewel tones were the rage of the runways for fall ’07. Wear this intense Elyse C. Bec South Africa Blue Scarf for a shot of electric color.
