Hermès, Digital Perfumerie

Hermès’ First Digital Perfumerie

Today Hermès opened a new perfumerie at Brookfield Place in New York. The space features a digital concept and is dedicated entirely to beauty. It’s also one of the first Hermès stores to use extensive interactive digital displays as a marketing tool. There’s also an app for the store opening, called 225 Liberty, which features live-action traditional Hermès references such as horses and the Eiffel Tower.

Nicholas Kirkwood’s ‘Back to the Future’ Collection

Nicholas Kirkwood is celebrating his 10-year anniversary with a special collection that features sparkles and neon colors. It consists of ten different shoes and will be unveiled at London Fashion Week on Saturday. The pricy, limited-edition shoes will be available for pre-order at the Kirkwood pop-up shop, which opens at Selfridges on September 20th in London, and also via trunk shows globally. “I want these shoes to exist, to be the way I wanted them to be. It’s 100 percent a creative project and I was completely free with it. I’m not here to sell a whole load of them,” said the designer. Kirkwood will also sell iPhone cases, tote bags and small accessories as part of the collection.
