Fashion Finds. Wherefore Art Thou Figure Flattering Frocks? Second City Style Fashion Blog

Fountain of 30

April 20, 2007 • Fashion

In a sea of decidedly unflattering dress styles for spring/summer, one is hard pressed to find some that don’t make you look at least 10 lbs. heavier than you really are. Come on, men hate these baby doll, trapeze, tent and shift frocks. As much as I like them in theory, I’m finding one or two in a wardrobe is enough. Trying to find a dress that shows you have curves in a non-Frederick’s of Hollywood way is a major challenge. I speak from experience trying in vein to find a few dresses that are 1. age appropriate 2. not sleazy for some events I have quickly approaching later this spring.

Let’s troll some online stores to see if I can find anything.
