Can someone tell me how this works exactly?
17 year old pop star Justin Beiber is launching his first woman’s fragrance. Someday by Justin Beiber is ” designed with femininity to the max — from the heart-shaped flower of a top to the removable charms hanging from the neck”, according to WWD. The licensee of the fragrance, Give Back Brands, was set up specifically for events such as this. It’s predicted that the Biebs’ scent will raise millions for a list of charities; two of his favorite are Pencils of Promise and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The fragrance will be offered as an eau de parfum spray ranging in price from $35 for a 1 oz. size to $45 for the 1.7 oz. version to $55 for 3.4 oz. There also will be a 5 oz. hair mist — a big issue with the swept-top Biebs — for $20 and a body lotion for $25.
Terry Richardson shot the print ads, which star Dree Hemingway. And an intriguing-sounding commercial, filmed by Robert Lee in a gravity-free cabin of a NASA training jet, will debut the day after Thanksgiving.
“Let’s be real, the way a girl smells is very important to a guy! I have such a deep connection with my fans, so creating a fragrance that I personally love is another way I can bring them closer to my world,” Beiber said.
No, let’s be real Beiber… you better live up this prepubescent dream teen-fest as long as you can. Because once you hit puberty, this ride is over. And who designs their first fragrance for the opposite gender?!?!
