Fountain of 30

June 15, 2007 • Shopping

Yesterday, SCS joined the fabulous ladies of Lazar shopping to put the glitz on the Ritz and check out the offerings at their sample sale.  Three designers were featured in three different merchandise categories – Reem Acra dresses, Anthony Nak Jewelry, and Isaac Mizrahi Collection handbags.

If you’re in the market for a gala gown or just want to check out some frocks fit for a princess (or the red carpet), you’re in luck.  Reem Acra’s luscious satin and glittery beaded gowns and separates have been marked down to $180-3000, a fair cry from their usual price tags.

Perhaps jewelry is more your thing.  In that case, Anthony Nak has a selection of some of their finest 18k earrings and necklaces priced between $320 and $5000.  Crafted from fine chains, precious, and semiprecious gems, these pieces have an organic feel and somehow manage to appear both modern and Art Deco at the same time.

Last but not least, there are some killer deals to be had on Isaac Mizrahi Collection bags.  Made of buttery soft leather, these bags have the elegant, sturdy hardware and other small details like patent trim that set high end bags apart.  Prices range from $150-$250 on bags that originally cost as much as $895.  Personally, I’m a fan of the oversize ivory leather equestrian bag.

This sale is going on until Saturday, June 16th, so head to the Ritz (160 East Pearson St) and put on some glitz.
