Summary: Celebrity designer Oat products and legumes (dry beans, peas, and lentils) are rich sources of soluble . Dennis Basso celebrated his 30 year anniversary on the catwalk. Very well-known for his fur (ahem, they had bag check before entering the venue), Basso delivered a modern collection of fur and gowns. With a packed show full of celebrities, fellow designers, editors and bloggers alike, flouncy fur capes and jackets adorned models in evening gowns with unconventional touches.

Basso”s unconventional touches included bright chartreuse and yellow finishes on furs, silk and shimmering gowns. The out of ordinary colors mixed on beautiful evening wear was quite shocking and extremely refreshing. No wonder he”s been dressing celebrities for over 30 years–everyone from Diana Ross to Paris Hilton to Liza Minnelli and who can forget Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada? Now that”s quite the repertoire.

Besides his execution of fur, Basso combines traditional shapes with new elements. A traditional mermaid gown out of sheer organza is finished off with a geometric print and silver sequin flowers on top. Jackets are updated with crocodile skin that hug the body like armor, and a dress very reminiscent of vintage Dior couture walks down the runway with a sheer bottom and fur bolero. To sum it up, Basso stays true to his classic style that focuses on technique while also freshening up with exciting colors, textures and skins. The crowd”s response to this beautiful collection was a standing ovation for the Basso who blew air kisses on the runway.
