Friday, September 5, 1014. On Day 2 of New York Fashion Week Mark & Estel woke up Carmen and Carol during their 11 am show at the Salon at the tents at Lincoln Center. We know…we got up late!
Meanwhile Lauren was checking out Yosi Samra shoes and Gigi New York bags.
That’s L and W for Lauren Waters!
Lauren the went backstage before the Carmen Marc Valvo show to see the fabulous Ted Gibson mix the magic.
Lauren with Carmen Marc Valvo backstage!
Later on the runway Carmen Marc Valvo wowed us with his Spring ’15 Collection Celebrating 25 Years!
Carmen was in love with Kate Spade’s stripes and florals.
Carol had lunch with friends from BloggingProjectRunway.com. She sat next to Bert Keeter from Project Runway Season 9.
It was touching to see how excited Sam (second place from Under The Gunn) was to meet Alexandria (second place from Project Runway Season 11).
Carmen saw the perpetually cool silhouettes and impeccable tailoring at Sally LaPointe.
A white hot Sally LaPointe look!
Carol took off for the beach – well, that was the fun mood at the Mark & Estel presentation of Pop Art screen prints on dresses, skirts, shorts, swimwear, knits and accessories galore!
Scoring Vince slip-on sneakers at Century 21! That makes about a dozen pairs for Lauren’s collection.
Scoring Giambattista Valli at Century 21! Carol tried on every piece on the rack to find the perfect piece.
Monique Lhuillier brought the glamor, as expected.
The finale at Monique Lhuillier was dazzling as her amazing dressed paraded under a shower of iridescent leaves that filled the runway … and eventually our handbags! It was a perfect way to end our day.
