New York Fashion Week Spring ’14: Fashion Show Street Style Of Women Over 30

Fountain of 30

September 13, 2013 • Fashion Blog, New York Fashion Week Spring '14

Now maybe some of these women we noticed were under 30. We don’t know. We didn’t ask. However, you can see that they are dressed appropriately for women over 30. No freak shows if you know what we mean. We know the street style photographers mostly go after the young, and colorfully dressed, but in the wise words of Sweet Brown…”Ain’t Nobody Got Time for That!”

The woman above is perfection from head-to-foot.

Black and navy together (a favorite color combo for fall), paired with pointy stilettos, a Celine bag and the perfect jeweled accessories.

Wow. This is a woman who is confident. She managed to take black and kick it up several notches. By pairing that exaggerated top with such a bold statement necklace and matching cuffs, the attention is in the right places.

This blocked leather dress, shoes and clutch are the perfect pairing.

Speaking of color-blocking, this dress is gorgeous. The Hermes bag doesn’t hurt either.

Aside from the DHL bag, this woman looks fab.

The coat and the Ricky bag peaking out are sublime.

Just because you are over 35 doesn’t mean you still can’t have fun with your clothes. Case in point.

Rocking. It.

Of course this was Alex McCord, and her hem is too short and the boots are just all wrong and the color of the dress washes her out. This is NOT a good example.

Phew, now back to the good stuff.

Ending on a high note…
