Summary: At the end of a long day during fashion week, when you have to go off of the beaten path for a show, especially when there’s a taxi cab strike, your fatigue sets in and you’re ready to say, "Okay, this better be worth the trip." The music was upbeat and clubby, the mood was certainly right. You want to say, "Come on, impress me." And Chris Han certainly did.
Light and easy, in some cases the shapes were nothing completely new, but in all cases, it was very well done. Bubble skirt – done right, ruching – done right, empire top – done right. The short easy jackets were outstanding, and the satin folded detailing, and the topstitching and silk stripping was always just enough.
There was also light touch of hardware: one exposed zipper under the arm, or simple metal chain straps, a belt placed in the proper place. A light and right touch.
Color Palette: white, light grey, light blue, pink, silver, black
Textures & Details: satin, silk crepe, silk chiffon, silk georgette, tulle overlay, sequins, chains, and a light and large abstract bird print.
Key Looks: Cropped jackets, white satin skirts, shorts, easy tops, short bubble skirts and dresses. Separates that can go from day to night. Light and airy color pallet.
