Summary: Diane von Furstenberg’s show was aptly named " Under the Volcano" which according to her
program was about "the fantasy of escaping to
exotic islands, and the wilder shores of love." You don’t have to plan a trip to Hawaii or be an Island Girl to want to wear this collection. In fact, there were many looks I would want to wear every day, every where…all the days of spring and summer. She pretty much had one’s entire summer wardrobe in one collection. There were safari shorts, loose pants, ethereal gowns and of course, the signature silk jersey wraps. The collection utilized pretty much all the colors under the rainbow in many combinations and in many patterns. If you love color, this is the collection for you next spring.
