She did it. Jill Stuart wins my heart this spring and it’s not just because of her tickled pink collection. The collection is admirable because of how much of a risk she took when deviating from her beautifully mad, mod moment this winter. She strayed far from the penetrating hues of blue and her sinfully short silhouette and kept the short style while throwing the heavy, saturated color to the wind. Pale, sheer pinks, white and cream, silver and even pale blue give credibility to her black-as-spring-staple. Large, exaggerated ruffles are a contemporary construction and each ensemble makes you long for the days when a man would call you "sweety."
