leather Jacket

Spring, summer, winter or fall, leather jackets are one of the very few statement pieces you don’t have to hide away for any season thereby making it one of the most versatile items in your closet. Styling these jackets for a night out, a day at the office, or simplifying your look for a more casual feel can all be achieved depending on what you pair your jacket with. Below are a few examples of how to achieve these looks, and how simple it is to change up your appearance with a single item already hanging in your closet.

Office Wear, Leather Jacket, skirt

This first look above is quite versatile in itself, but adding the leather jacket makes it more suitable for the office, yet chic for a night out on the town. I paired a simple gray v-neck tank with a pencil skirt and black wedges all tied together with a leather jacket to really make a bold statement.

Night Out, Leather Jacket, dress, sandals

My second look is a bit more casual and again – it’s just as easy to take it from a night out, to a day out running errands with a swap of a few accessories. I paired a simple gray t-shirt dress with black strap heels and a leather jacket to give the look a bit more edge. To tone it down, exchange the heels for ballet flats.

Casual Look, Leather Jacket, Jeans

My final look proves you can still be casual yet chic when mixing the right items. I paired my favorite pair of skinny jeans with a gray button-down tank top and a flannel shirt tied around my waist (a la 90’s) for a pop of color. I went for a short heel (great for running around the city) which may be switched out with anything from Converse to stilettos depending on what look you are trying to achieve. The leather jacket still pairs perfectly even when dressed down!
