Isaac Mizrahi for Target® Tulle Princess Dress $159.99

Listen up June brides! As one (a June bride) myself, I can say…anyone who helps cut costs on the sham that is the wedding industry is A-OK in my book. Brilliant in fact. If I were not so dead set on a silver gown for my wedding frock I would certainly have no problem wearing an Issac Mizrahi design from Target. What say you?  A fashion snob buying her once in a lifetime wedding dress at Target? Don’t let my crusty exterior fool you. When it comes to weddings, I say beat them at their own game. I am a fashion elitist…when it comes to something I plan to wear more than once (my entire wardrobe), but a dress that will hang in an attic closet for the rest of my life? No thanks. I would rather have a new killer handbag and some Blahniks, thank you very much.

Isaac Mizrahi for Target® Silk Cowl Dress $129.99

All of the Issac Mizrahi for Target collection is under $200. Weddings for the masses. I love it. A veil for $14.99, shoes for $29.99…ha, ha, ha!

Isaac Mizrahi for Target® Short Veil $14.99

As Wendy S. Liebmann, president of WSL Strategic Retail, a New York-based
consulting firm that has studied the bridal industry stated, "It’s taking them
into an area where you say: ‘Wait a minute. Is it cheesy to buy your
wedding dress at Target for $100?’ It’s a very delicate balance. If
anybody has the brand equity to do it, Target is the one." Darn straight!

Isaac Mizrahi for Target® Full Ball Skirt and Lace Shell $69.99 – $129.99

"There aren’t wedding gowns at that price point anywhere, period," said Julie Raimondi, editor in chief of Brides Chicago. "It doesn’t exist. It’s a completely different model. If it helps people from going into debt, I think it’s a great thing." I second that!

Let’s face it, your bridesmaids are going to hate you anyway (you probably won’t be talking to them in 20 years), so make it less painful with a $89.99 dress tab instead of a hideous sea-foam green concoction that sets her back $500. Oh, and shipping is free since it’s over $50!

Isaac Mizrahi for Target® Strapless Sheath Dress $89.99 (I would so wear this!)

Now you have a little more money to play with when the caterer shocks you with the four times what you expected over-inflated bill.
