Charming Charlie Opens Flagship in NY

Who would not be excited about a two floor store in the middle of Manhattan filled will accessories from top to bottom? And affordable accessories at that? Charming Charlie has finally expanded to the big apple and they’re doing it in a big way. With their other 350 existing stores, they may already offer the largest selection of accessories, but nothing like this 16,000 square foot store. The opening of their new flagship shop took 6 months as opposed to their usual 60 days explains how much work went into this location and their hard work shows. Charming Charlie is located at 445 Fifth Avenue and they will continue to work towards presenting an exclusive line for New York shoppers.

Isaac Mizrahi Fashion Exhibition

The Jewish Museum will be highlighting designer Isaac Mizrahi’s fashion lines throughout the years along with his TV and film performances from March 18, 2016 to August 7, 2016. “Isaac Mizrahi: An Unruly History” will focus primarily on his signature 1987-1998 label, 2003-2011 semi-couture, and his Target 2002 to 2008 line. Video clips and outtakes of the designer from “Unzipped” and “Project Runway” will also be apart of the display at the museum.

John Galliano Revamp

Designer John Galliano fashion house is switching up their “Gothic Style” for a more contemporary look starting with their logo. According to creative director Bill Gaytten, “We have a great opportunity to re-imagine a look that is both timeless and of our time.” Starting with their logo, changing the Gothic lettering to a more raw yet elegant feel will soon manifest into a completely new store concept and advertising campaign beginning spring 2016. After many hardships, the brand is positive about restarting their company adhering to contemporary style, yet, not straying away completely from the branded look.
