Condé Nast Traveler’s New Fashion Director

Condé Nast Traveler has a new fashion director. Sarah Meikle will hold the new role at the glossy magazine when she starts on Oct. 7. Meikle was Glamour’s fashion market director but left in February to freelance. She will take over the position from Maggie Mann, who moved to Seattle earlier this year.

Neiman Marcus Takes New Actions

Neiman Marcus will soon be carrying out new strategies and operations after a string of significant changes. This comes after the retailer reported its fourth-quarter and fiscal 2014 results that saw a bottom net line. President and Chief Executive Officer of Neiman Marcus, Karen Katz, said revving up renovations at key locations will increase productivity. The company plans to aggressively fuel growth of its online businesses –, and soon-to-be and further an already advanced program of omnichannel initiatives for testing new services such as same-day deliveries.

Armani/Nobu Reopening

Popular Milan restaurant Armani/Nobu will reopen on Friday. Some details of the completely redesigned hotspot include: a new sushi bar on the first floor embellished with metallic champagne-colored panels, wooden beams with a Japanese inspiration decorate the ceilings, and sunny orange hues compliment the fabric upholstery. The restaurant now holds 130 people on the ground floor and more than 100 people on the upper floor, where the smoking area and temperature-regulated wine cellar are located. Don’t be surprised if you see designers and celebrities hitting up this night spot after a long day of fashion shows during Milan Fashion Week.
