Shopping Mytheresa.com Via Instagram
London based online retailer, Mytheresa.com, has officially launched a new microsite that allows users to shop looks through the retailers @mytheresaprgirl Instagram account. If you are an Instagram user you may be wondering how this is possible since Instagram makes adding links to photos virtually impossible. Well, the new site at instashop-mytheresa.com allows shoppers to click an image featured on Instagram and then be redirected to the Mytheresa.com website to shop the look. The service was launched at the beginning of the month and is soon to be followed by another account, @myt_stylist, where users can share an outfit via Mytheresa.com’s edit on their own account and also buy the outfit. The service will be available beginning August 31st.
Elizabeth Taylor Exhibition
Getty Images will be celebrating the late Elizabeth Taylor for her 30 year involvement with raising awareness for AIDS/HIV. The exhibition, “Grit and Glamour” will showcase 50 photos ranging from studio portraits, contact sheets and backstage images to behind-the-scenes imagery and unpublished photos of Taylor’s career and philanthropic work. The show is set to run in London at Getty Images Gallery from October 9th- November 7th and make its way to cities in New York, LA, South Africa and France. These photos are also up for sale and a percentage of the proceeds will go to The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
Klorane at Sephora
European skin and haircare line, Klorane, will be available for purchase at 48 select Sephora stores and sephora.com beginning mid September. Klorane’s plant based haircare and dry shampoo products are the most popular within the line overseas and Sephora believes they will have the same impact here in the states. The brand will also sell full-sized items in a separate dry shampoo area in roughly 118 stores. Keep your eye out for the new line!
